Thank you Ramon. I really need to get back to the fantasy.....as work has become tighter and more detail-driven, so has my art and that is not really a good thing.

Oh, Douglas, I LOVE that comment. I can be described a blockhead sometimes, but NEVER a BOX head.....so escape away!

Revisiting a masterpiece of Reconstructed Destruction...from the “secret story” behind it’s creation it seems like “thinking outside the box” was a result of not fitting into the box in the first place.....Congratulations for escaping from the Box Heads !

Thank you AnnaJo. There is a secret story behind this one: I had carefully rendered a portrait of myself in oil pastels but my mentor looked at and said 1) it was too perfect, 2) it didn't reveal anything about me except what I looked like, and 3) I had once again made my eyes too big. I was so upset/hurt that I ripped the portrait up and stuffed it into my portfolio. Later, I decided that the destruction itself said something about me....and so this one began. It is now one of my favorite self portraits. LOL
